Hi, I am Konstantin.
I believe life is precious, it passes by so fast and many people nowadays are so busy all the time they forget to enjoy it. Raise your hand if you're guilty 🖐, me too. As it happens to the best of us, I picked up my first camera when I was in about 5th grade and since that, there has always been this drive in me to capture moments in life, whether it be motion or stills. I have always had a passion for photography, cinema and telling a visual story, in various forms.
Why I shoot
We all have a story to tell. Everyone has a different vision of how they want their story told to their audience, whether it is their clients, strangers, friends, or family. I have found over the years that photography can tell the story you need in a common language that everyone can understand. It really is amazing that no matter where in the world you are, everyone can see a photo and get a similar feeling from it, whether they speak your language, or not.
How I work
In 2017, I graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Cinema. Having worked with and around people of all ages since high school time, I am no stranger to working with people; this gives me a bit of a unique approach to capture moments for people of all age. It's crucial for me to find a real connection with people, as non-verbal communication makes up for the vast majority of how we process information, picking up vibes and being able to express them in my photos is vital.
My "Style"
As I constantly evolve and change my style to better suit my clients, I will tell you what is important to me in each photo:
- Composition
- Lighting (Natural but controlled)
- Posing/Subject Angle
- Color
I have a huge focus on composition, as that is what many "professionals" I find lack. It is so important to pay attention to background items and little tweaks in composition that could drastically improve the story.
Branding
Over the years, I have worked with a number of great people, teams, and brands. I have been helping create and manage the branding needs of for various industries. Creating cohesive and dynamic brand experiences is something I've worked on since I was a kid, helping my family with their small business ventures. It's so important to stand out in the age of constant media. This is where I come in to help build the strategy and implement the content behind it.
